This policy explains how Gotrade d.o.o. collects, uses and protects personal data when you contact us or use this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Slovenian data-protection law.

1. What data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to give us when you request a quote or get in touch:

• Identity and contact details: name, company, email address, phone number.
• The content of your enquiry: product, volume, destination and any other details you include.
• Basic technical data your browser sends automatically (for example IP address and device type), to the extent it appears in server logs.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and this site is intended for business (B2B) use, not for children.

2. Why we use it and the legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To manage an ongoing business relationship and supply our products — Art. 6(1)(b) and (f), our legitimate interest in running our business.
• To meet legal and tax obligations — Art. 6(1)(c).

3. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts (Fontshare) and animation libraries (GSAP, Lenis) are loaded from third-party content delivery networks, which may receive your IP address as a technical necessity to serve those files. We do not use this for tracking.

4. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers acting on our behalf — for example email, hosting and IT providers — under appropriate data-processing agreements, and with authorities where required by law. Any transfers outside the EU/EEA are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer data for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship, and afterwards only as required by law (for example accounting records). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and you can object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email ho@gotradedoo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
